We are three friends who enjoy getting together to make candles, forage for the flowers and foliage to decorate and the chatting social time involved.
We wish to offer the opportunity for others to do the same, in making a handmade creation or enjoying an event. Our intention is for you to take some time out of your busy life, to create a beautiful piece or setting.

The Dalia
This month’s flower is the gorgeous Dahlia, as they are now blooming in our summer gardens. The meanings of Dahlia flowers include beauty, eternal love, inner strength, dignity and kindness. Depending on the flower colour, context, and culture, dahlias can symbolise themes of celebration, relationships and resilience. In the Victorian era, when floriography (the language of flowers) was all the rage, dahlias were given as symbols of devotion and love and were a very popular flower to gift. Due to their ability to bloom after many other flowers have died, dahlias symbolise a lasting bond and a lifelong commitment between two people. This makes them the perfect gift for anniversaries or Valentine's Day!
