About us
We are three friends who enjoy getting together to make candles, forage for flowers and foliage to decorate and the chatting social time involved. We wish to offer the opportunity for others to do the same, in making a handmade creation or enjoying an event. Our intention is for you to take some time out of your busy life, to create a beautiful piece in a beautiful setting.
Taking our cues from nature and the Language of Flowers, we offer creative, social and relaxing candle making, wreath making and floral workshops in the Greater Wellington, Kāpiti and Wairarapa regions, based on floriography. We also offer event styling services for all occasions.
The purchasing of candles and event styling as well as attending workshops helps us to offer free or subsidised experiences within our communities. We appreciate the support!
Our Team
Helen Cook
Helen is our creative director. She has designed and hand drawn all our beautiful botanical artwork. Helen loves to forage for natural materials to be used in decorating our products and can't walk anywhere without looking at the beauty and construct of nature.
Kate Ridley
Kate is our resident entertainer extraordinaire. She is the constructor of beautiful and aesthetically pleasing table settings and platters. Kate is also the maker of our gorgeous wreaths and is our language of flowers inspiration.
Megan Northcott
Megan is our technical director. With an eye for detail, Megan is passionate about the candle making process and sharing her knowledge with others to bring their creations to life.
